Teachers of the Year Spotlight
Pre-K through 4th Grade Teacher of the Year
Ms. Megan Tramel is the PK-4th grade teacher of the year. Ms. Megan currently teaches Kindergarten at FRS. She has also taught 1st grade at FRS, in Wilson County Schools for 5 years, and in Metro Nashville for 4 years. Ms. Megan lives in Carthage with her 2 children Madilynn and Levi.
5th through 8th Grade Teacher of the Year
Mrs. Snowi Brune is the 5-8th grade Teacher of the Year at Forks River School. She currently teaches 7th and 8th grade math and science at FRS. She has previously taught 2nd grade at Carthage Elementary, Special Education at FRS, Watertown High School, and Carthage Elementary School. Mrs. Snowi graduated from Smith County High School in 1997, Tennessee Tech in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and Carson Newman University in 2019 with a master’s degree in special education. Mrs. Snowi lives in Brush Creek with her husband Chris, her 2 sons Gabriel and Michael, and her 3 dogs.
